✅ ASSENT: By checking the confirmation at checkout and placing your order, you agree to this Checkout Terms & Attestation Agreement on behalf of your organization. If you cannot truthfully make every attestation in Section 1, do not place the order.
1. Buyer Attestations
Every order placed on vertexlabs.shop is accepted only on the basis of the following attestations, each of which the individual completing checkout makes at the time of purchase:
- Age 21 or older. The individual completing checkout is at least twenty-one (21) years old.
- Research-use-only purchase. Every product in the order is being purchased solely for legitimate laboratory research and is not for human consumption, administration, or any clinical or household use.
- Experienced researcher. The individual completing checkout is an experienced researcher, or is acting under the direct authority and supervision of an experienced researcher, with the training, qualifications, facilities, and procedures appropriate for the materials ordered.
- Business-to-business / institutional transaction only. The order is placed solely by or for a business, laboratory, academic institution, or other organizational purchaser. It is not placed for personal, family, household, or other consumer purposes.
- Legally authorized receipt. The buyer is legally authorized to purchase and receive the materials in the jurisdiction where they will be received, possessed, and used, and the purchase does not violate applicable law.
2. Payment and Order Acceptance
- Card payments are collected on a hosted, PCI-compliant checkout page operated by our payment provider. Card numbers are never entered on, transmitted to, or stored by Vertex Labs.
- An order is pending until the payment provider confirms payment. Vertex Labs may decline, cancel, or limit any order before dispatch, including where an attestation appears inaccurate or the order is inconsistent with research use.
- All prices are in United States Dollars (USD). The amount charged is the order total shown at checkout, inclusive of any shipping, handling, or protection selected.
- Discount codes and offers are governed by our Offers & Promotions Terms.
3. Research-Use Restrictions
- All materials are supplied as analytical reference standards for in-vitro laboratory research only. They are not drugs, cosmetics, supplements, or devices, and are not for human or animal use.
- Materials may not be resold, distributed, or transferred to any person or entity that cannot make the attestations in Section 1.
- The buyer is solely responsible for safe handling, use, and disposal in accordance with applicable regulations and its institution’s procedures.
4. Attestation Records
Vertex Labs retains a record of each checkout attestation together with the order: the attestation version, the time it was made, the order contents and total, a hashed form of the network address, and the browser identifier. These records are kept for compliance and may be provided to our payment and compliance partners on request. See our Privacy Policy.
